Howdy!

Please read the following article (more than once) and make sure to look up any vocabulary that you do not know. Please come prepared to discuss in class.

I look forward to the discussion and to finding out how these kinds of crimes are dealt with in your home countries.

See you in class!

  1. I disagree with this proposal. It's reasonable that thieves and fraudsters are send to jail, because they are criminals. It makes no difference whether it is a serious crime or not.

  2. I think this proposal is not completely good because thieves and fraudsters can commit the same crime many times and they know that they won´t go to jail. In my opinion the goverment wants to safe money. They can be dangereous because if they start with small things, these things can become bigger ones.

  3. I kinda agree with this article. If there was no violence, threatening, sexual assault and other sorts of offensive act, it can be regarded as not that serious crime and that can be handled in community because in this way, they can also be punished and if same thing happens, then we can consider that as a serious crime
